A new season in Destiny 2 means a bunch of new challenges for Guardians to complete for XP, Bright Dust, and godroll gear. While most of these Seasonal Challenges are obvious, some can be a little frustrating. That is where this guide comes in. In this Destiny 2 guide, we have provided a list of all the Week 3 Challenges in Season of the Risen.
Destiny 2: Season of the Risen Week 3 Challenges
Below, we have listed all the challenges, completion requirements, and tips where required:
| Challenges | How to Complete | Tips |
| Operation Elbrus: Week 3 | Complete the third week of Operation Elbrus and decode three Runic Chests in PsiOps Battlegrounds. | This one requires the completion of the weekly questline and opening three chests at the end of PsiOps Battleground. |
| Challenge of the Disciple | Complete a Weekly Mission from The Witch Queen on Hero difficulty or higher. | This one is fairly simple. Just make sure that Fynch is at appropriate reputation rank otherwise the Weekly Mission will not be available. |
| Severed Vow | Complete the four Vow of the Disciple raid encounters. | This challenge can be a pain for people who do not have a group to attempt this with. While there is always the option to go with LFG, the experience can vary. Also, we highly recommend Datto’s raid guide to understand the mechanics. |
| Weapon Shape II | Extract a Resonant Element from a Deepsight Resonant weapon. | Acquire a weapon with a red border, defeat enemies until the progress reaches 100, and then extract a Resonant Element from the Masterwork screen. |
| EDZ Patrol | In the EDZ, earn progress by completing bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors. | Grab a bunch of bounties from Devrim, run nearby Lost Sectors, and do occasional Public Events to get this done. |
| Power Broker | Power Level 1550 reached without the Seasonal Artifact. | This one depends on how much a person plays. Keep on doing Powerfuls/Pinnacles until it gets done. Just make sure to do all the Powerfuls before Pinnacles. |
| Long-range Calibration | Calibrate long-range weapons in the EDZ. | This one can be done alongside the EDZ Patrol one. |
| Primeval Entourage | Taken defeated in Gambit. | Just camp mid, wait for the blockers, and defeat them. As simple as that! |
| Scorched Earth | Guardians defeated in Team Scorched. | Once again, this one depends on one’s skill-level. Score a bunch of kills in Team Scorched. Also, remember that Team Scorched will become available sometime later in the season too. |
| Ultimate Champion | Defeat Champions in Nightfall strikes on Hero difficulty or higher. Bonus progress can be earned for higher Nightfall mission difficulties in Destiny 2. | There are like 10 Champions in this week’s NF. With a competent team attempting it at Master difficulty, it should not be a problem at all. Otherwise, just stick with Hero. |
