Destiny 2: Season of the Lost Week 7 Challenges Guide

Seasonal Challenges in Destiny 2 provide the player with XP, Bright Dust, weapons, etc. However, unlike Weekly Bounties from earlier seasons, these challenges can be completed at any time before the end of the season. In this Destiny 2 guide, we have detailed all there is to know about how to complete all Week 7 Challenges in Season of the Lost.

Destiny 2: Season of the Lost Week 7 Challenges

This week’s challenges can be a little challenging for some people. This is because these challenges require the player to complete a Grandmaster NF, matches in Competitive PvP Playlist, completing Astral Alignment in under 10 minutes, etc.

The following is a complete list of all the Seasonal Challenges for Week 7, requirements, and a few tips to complete them effectively:

Challenge Requirement Tips to Complete
Wayfinder’s Voyage VI Use the Wayfinder’s Compass to complete Wayfinder’s Voyage VII. Also, defeat 100 Taken/Scorn with Shotguns anywhere in the system. The initial step is to complete the weekly questline. As for the shotgun kills, it is a good idea to run double Shotguns with a Special Finisher in the Blind Well.
Umbral Maven Focus 2x Tier III Umbral Engrams at the Prismatic Recaster in the H.E.L.M. To do this, approximately 800 Parallax Trajectory is needed. Once acquired, head over to the H.E.L.M. and focus 2x Umbral Engrams with Tier III rewards.
Freezeburn Defeat 500 combatants with Stasis abilities, Solar abilities, or shatter damage. Combatants defeated with Solar or Stasis melee attacks award bonus progress. Sunspots, bottom-tree Dawnblade, etc. are really good for this. A few good places to complete this challenge include the Shuro Chi encounter in the Last Wish raid, the Blind Well, and the Thrallway area in the Shattered Throne.
Efficient Ley Liner Complete the Alignment activity in under 10 minutes. For this, we recommend a pre-made team of 6 – not required though. Focus on completing objectives, nuking the bosses, and pray not to get the batteries encounter since it can take a lot of time.
Cadre of Contenders Complete Crucible matches in the Glory Rank playlist. Earn bonus progress for wins. This entirely depends on the skill-level of the player. A win grants 20% progress and a loss gives 13%.
Bring a Fusion Sword Defeat targets with Fusion Rifles (100) and Swords (75) in Gambit. Defeating Guardians grants additional progress. Some of the Fusion Rifles we recommend include Vex Mythoclast, Telesto, etc. Just have someone in the team run Aeon Safe to generate Power Ammo for the team to get the Sword kills.
Conquest of the Mighty Complete any Nightfall strike on Grandmaster. This one is probably the toughest challenge. It can take even above-average PvE players to a few tries to complete. The week’s Grandmaster NF is the Hollowed Lair. We have provided some tips and tricks in the linked guide for an easier completion.
