Destiny 2: Season of the Lost Week 3 Challenges Guide

Seasonal Challenges in Destiny 2: Season of the Lost are some of the best sources of XP, seasonal currency, and Bright Dust. Every new week, a bunch of new challenges are added that can be completed before the season ends. In this Destiny 2: Season of the Lost guide, we have detailed all there is to know about completing all the Week 3 Challenges.

Destiny 2: Season of the Lost Week 3 Challenges

Below, we have provided a complete list of all the Seasonal Challenges for Week 3 in Destiny 2: Season of the Lost.

Seasonal Challenge Requirement Tips to Complete
Wayfinder’s Voyage III Use the Wayfinder’s Compass to complete Wayfinder’s Voyage III. Also, defeat Taken and Hive anywhere in the system. Stasis final blows will grant more progress. Complete the weekly questline. Nothing more to say about it.
Umbral Wayfinder III Focus Tier II or greater Umbral Engrams at the Prismatic Recaster in the H.E.L.M. Open Wayfinder’s Troves in the Astral Alignment activity. This one requires the player to focus a couple of Umbral Engrams with Tier II Focusing and completing rounds of Astral Alignment.
Initiate Ley Liner Complete rounds of Astral Alignment and defeat Taken with the Taken Relic. It is far easier to just complete a few rounds of Astral Alignment than trying to defeat Taken with the Taken Relic.
Astral Telemetry I Gather Parallax Trajectories from playlist or Astral Alignment activities, or from Ascendant Anchors found on destinations and in the Shattered Realm activity. The fastest method of obtaining Parallax Trjectories is to play Strikes. Once done, check out our guide for Ascendant Anchors.
Sacred Scorcher Defeat Guardians in Team Scorched. Earn bonus progress for charged detonations. Team Scorched is this week’s rotating Crucible mode. Nothing much to say about it.
Primeval Entourage Defeat Taken in Gambit. Earn bonus progress for defeating tougher combatants. Although a bit selfish but camping the bank should get the job done.
Light Moon Rising On the Moon, earn progress by completing bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors. This one is pretty simple. Repeatedly doing a Lost Sector on the Moon should do it.
Challenger’s Apogee Reach Power Level 1320 by earning powerful rewards and Prime Engrams. This challenge is retroactive. Pretty self-explanatory!
Long-Range Calibration Calibrate long-range weapons — Pulse Rifles, Bows, and Trace Rifles — on the Moon. Bonus progress in Lost Sectors. Enter a Lost Sector with something like a Trinity Ghoul should do it.
Ultimate Champion Champions defeated in any Nightfall strike on Hero difficulty or higher. Earn bonus progress at higher difficulty tiers. There is not a lot that needs to be done in order to complete this challenge. All I did was to complete the week’s NF, Exodus Crash, on Master difficulty with ‘Platinum’ rewards and it got auto-complete.
