Column 1
In the first column, you will find anti-Champion mods. Overcharged is a new mechanic introduced in Lightfall that increases the damage by +25%. To learn more about it, you can refer to the linked article.
- Anti-Barrier Sidearms: Sidearms can stun Barrier Champions.
- Anti-Barrier Pulse Rifles: Pulse Rifles can stun Barrier Champions.
- Overload Bows: Full-ydrawn bow shots stun Overload Champions.
- Unstoppable Scout Rifles: Scout Rifles stun Unstoppable Champions.
- Automatic Overload: ARs and SMGs stun Overload Champions after firing for a short duration.
Aside from it, all of these weapons will always be Overcharged whenever the modifier is active.
Column 2
In the second column, you will find discounted mods for some of the weapon types:
- Authorized Mods — Solar: The armor energy costs of all armor affecting your Solar weapons are reduced.

Column 3
In this column, you will find mods which enhance Firebolt Grenades, Tangles, various Origin Traits, and a blast from the past i.e., Volatile Flow.
- Shatter Orbs: The first time you break the shield of a combatant with matching damage type lets you create an Orb of Power.
- Defiant Armory: This increases the effectiveness of Noble Deeds, Nanotech Tracer Rockets, Tex Balanced Stock, and Ambush.
- Untangler: Destroying a Tangle with a Strand weapon Suspends the combatants damaged by the explosion.
- Solar Surge: You receive an Armor Charge after collecting a Firesprite.
- Volatile Flow: Your Void weapons receive Volatile Rounds after picking up an Orb of Power.
Column 4
These are the mods that you should consider bringing into raids, Grandmaster NFs, and such.
- Bricks from Beyond: Defeating a powerful combatant with a Void weapon has a chance to create Heavy Ammo for the entire fireteam.
- Flare Up: Firebolt Grenades apply additional Scorch stacks. Damaging a combatant with a Firebolt Grenade creates a Firesprite.
- Origin Hones: Guns with Noble Deeds, Nanotech Tracer Rockets, Tex Balanced Stock, and Ambush are always Overcharged when the modifier is active.
- Allied Unraveling: Rapidly defeating targets with a Strand weapon provides Unraveling Rounds with increased duration when near allies.
- Counter-weave: Whenever someone in the fireteam defeats/stuns a Champion, you get energy for your least charged Strand ability.
Column 5
Arguably, the most powerful mods in Season of Defiance. These mods provide damage bonuses to the entire fireteam, etc.
- Stranded Reach: Destroying a Tangle creates a larger explosion that deals increased damage.
- Rain of Firebolts: This provides a second charge of Firebolt Grenades.
- Void Weapons Channeling: Defeating a combatant with a Void weapon provides a temporary bonus to Void weapon damage if one of your abilities is charged. This increases based on the number of charged abilities you have available.
- Medieval Champion: This combines the effects of Unstoppable Glaive and Overload Swords into one.
- Prismatic Transfer: Casting your Super grants everyone in your fireteam with a different subclass than yours a bonus to weapon damage.
