Someone at Bungie thought it was a good idea to bring back ‘Conqueror’ and ‘Flawless’ seals back in Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals. And no, these returning seals aren’t tiered. What this means is if you already did ‘Conqueror’ in Season of the Worthy, you won’t get anything out of it by completing it again. In this guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about unlocking Conqueror seal/title in Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals.

Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals Conqueror Seal

Similar to Season of the Worthy, unlocking the Conqueror seal requires you to complete 6 Nightfall Ordeals on Grandmaster difficulty – the strikes aren’t the same as they were in last season. Due to the new power cap, GM Nightfalls are now 1100 PL and require you to be at least 1075 PL in order to attempt them. Since there isn’t any matchmaking, you’ll also need a pre-made fireteam of 3.

According to Bungie, Grandmaster NFs are incredibly challenging that will force you out of your comfort zone (in terms of builds) and require top-notch communication. Moreover, these NFs always have ‘Contest Mode’ active so being higher than 1075 PL doesn’t provide any incentive at all! Some of the things you can expect in Grandmaster Nightfall Ordeals include:

  • Arc, Solar, Void singe
  • A variety of champions
  • Modifiers like Attrition, Blackout, etc.
  • You lose all the revives after 45 minutes
  • Enemies who can kill you in 1-2 shots max
  • Limited Revives (Defeating a champion rewards a revive)

It’s also needless to say but the NFs featured in Season of Arrivals are tougher than the ones in Season of the Worthy by a longshot. However, the general idea of completing them remains the same e.g. play at range, intelligent use of mods, play slowly. If you’re interested in some of the builds and loadouts to run in these NFs, you can check out our Grandmaster NFs Builds guide.
