It could be anything; the best way to fix the Query Timeout error is to uninstall the game, restart your PC, and reinstall Destiny 2.

Third-party anti-virus software often detects BattlEye as a virus or Trojan and causes a BSOD crash. Exclude the battleye.exe from your Anti-virus and firewall. To allow BattlEye through Firewall, open Settings > Privacy & Security > Windows Security > Firewall & Network protection > click “Allow an app through firewall” > change settings > Allow another app > Browse and locate battleye.exe (in the game folder) and click Open and add it > check both Private and Public.
After that, right-click battleye.exe > properties > Security tab > Edit > check “Full Control” under Permissions For Authenticates users and apply the changes. This will fix the Destiny 2 BSOD crash.

Update GPU Driver

Open Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > click Change adapter settings. Right-click your current connection > Properties > click on “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)”. Click properties > check “Use the following DNS server address” > input “18.104.22.168” for “Preferred DNS address” > input ” 22.214.171.124″ for “Alternate DNS Server”. Apply these changes, and Destiny 2 Error Code Nightingale will be fixed.
