How to Unlock Every New Exotic Armor in Destiny 2: Lightfall

Destiny 2: Lightfall brings a lot of new Exotics to experiment with. These include 2 new Exotic Armor pieces for each class and a ton of Exotic Weapons. And while weapons are fun and all, Exotic Armor plays a larger role when it comes to crafting builds. In this Destiny 2: Lightfall guide, we have provided a rundown of all new Exotic Armor and how to unlock these easily.

How to Unlock New Exotic Armor

There are a couple of methods to acquire new Exotic Armor in Destiny 2: Lightfall. The first one is doing the Legendary Campaign. After completing it, you will be asked to pick one of two new Exotic Armor for whatever class you played completed it on. Other than that, you will need to complete Lost Sectors on Master/Legend difficulty. These rotate daily with different rewards so make sure to check before you attempt. After you have unlocked an Exotic Armor, you will be able to farm for better rolls from NFs, Lost Sectors, Season Pass, and just as random world drops.

Each class in Destiny 2: Lightfall has received two new Exotic Armor pieces. Six in total!

Hunter

Speedloader Slacks — Boots
After you dodge, you will increase reload speed, handling, and airborne effectiveness for yourself and all nearby teammates. Delivering a final blow or dodging while the buff is active will further increase the effectiveness of the buff and refresh the timer. This effect caps at 5x stacks.

Cyrtarachne’s Facade — Helmet
Grappling will provide you with Woven Mail which is 60 percent damage reduction. You will also receive increased flinch resistance while the Woven Mail is active.

Titan

Abeyant Leap — Boots
Drengr’s Lash spawns two additional projectiles, tracks targets more aggressively, and travels farther. Gain Woven Mail when suspending targets.

Cadmus Ridge Lancecap — Helmet
If you love using Diamond Lances, this is the perfect Exotic for you. Diamond Lances create Stasis Crystals on impact, with additional Stasis Crystals being created upon hitting bosses, vehicles, etc. Moreover, if you land precision hits or eliminations with a Stasis weapon while behind a Rally Barricade, you will spawn a Diamond Lance near your position. You will obviously need to be on a Stasis subclass.

Warlocks

Swarmers — Boots
Destroying a Tangle spawans a Threadling which can Unravel any combatant that it damages.

Ballidorse Wrathweavers — Gauntlets
Winter’s Wrath deals increased Shatter damage which is approx. almost double the damage. Allies that are in the range of your Shockwave receive an Overshield and around 20 percent increased damage with Stasis weapons. At the time of writing this, it is a 20 percent damage increase which stacks on top of a Well of Radiance.
