Final Warning in Destiny 2: Lightfall is a combination of Devil’s Ruin and Ticcu’s Divination. It is a Strand based sidearm which fires Tracking Rounds. This makes it incredible to use in PvE and PvP. The weapon also comes with Unraveling Rounds which synergize really well with a few Fragments available to us. Aside from all this, it does fairly decent damage for a sidearm. In this guide, we will walk you through everything you need to know about unlocking Final Warning in Destiny 2: Lightfall.
Destiny 2: Lightfall Final Warning
Similar to the Winterbite, you will need to complete an Exotic Questline called The Final Strand to acquire Final Warning. Luckily, this mission is not nearly as annoying and tedious as the Winterbite one. Below, you will find all the steps needed to complete The Final Strand mission for Final Warning:
Getting the Exotic Quest
The first thing that you need is to acquire The Final Strand questline. To do so, you will need to purchase every Aspect, Grenade, and Fragments for Strand. You do not need to do this for all the classes. Just purchasing it on your main class should be sufficient. You will need 2,900 Strand Meditations in total to do so. If you need help farming these Strand Meditations, you can refer to our Strand Meditations farming tips. After acquiring The Final Strand questline, you will need to speak with Nimbus.
Strand-inoculated Gadgets in Veil Containment
You will find Veil Containment in the down-left of your screen. To reach this area, you will need to visit Zephyr Concourse. And from there, visit ESI Terminal. From this area, stick to the left side until you arrive at the Irkalla Complex. From there, keep on dropping down the balconies until you see a Darkness portal — this is the same area from where you are asked to grapple onto a Thrasher in the campaign.
Defeating Shadow Legion Looters
After arriving in the area where you used the Orbital Bombardment to defeat Shadow Legion in the campaign. After arriving in the area, you will need to defeat some Shadow Legion, Psions, and a Colossus boss at the end. Collect the item that the Colossus drops.
Veil Spectrometer
After you are done, you will need to enter the Typhon Imperator. Keep on following the waypoint until you come across Shadow Legion with a Tormentor. This is the only difficult section of the entire mission. If possible, you should try to ‘Suspend’ it as it makes the battle a whole lot easier. You can also use something like a Tractor Cannon to apply a debuff. After you are done, you will need to return to the Pouka Pond.
Headlong: Time Trial
For the last step, you will need to complete a Time Trial of the Headlong mission. You will be able to launch it directly from the Director. This does sound a little difficult to do but it is really not. If anything, you should be able to complete it way before 5 minutes. If you are having trouble, however, remember that you can always use Strand to your advantage. After you are done, return to the Pouka Pond to receive the Final Warning sidearm in Destiny 2: Lightfall.
