Legend difficulty for Defiant Battleground has now rolled out in Destiny 2: Lightfall. It is a slightly harder version of the normal one with extra Champions and additional modifiers. It also caps you at 1815 so over-leveling will not do you any good. You will also need to have a fireteam as it does not support matchmaking.

Legend: Defiant Battleground Tips

In this guide, we have shared some tips and tricks that will help you easily complete Legend: Defiant Battleground in Destiny 2: Lightfall.

Pay Attention to Surges

It is also a good idea to build around Surges and Overcharged Weapons. These increase your ongoing damage so it is a good idea to invest in these. However, do note that these Surges do not stack with the ones on the Boots.

Be Appropriately Leveled

It is needless to say but your maximum effective level in Legend: Defiant Battleground is 1815 which means that being above this PL will not give you any advantage. However, you need to make sure that you are as close to 1815 as possible. It is also a good idea to have all your weapons close to the Pinnacle cap so that they do not do less damage.

Strand is Strong Against Champions

While you will not come across Champions at every corner like in Grandmasters, there is still a decent number of Champions you will need to deal with. However, thanks to new subclass verbs, dealing with Champions is easier than ever before. Another good option that is not only decent against Champions but also crowd-control is Strand. If built properly, you will be able to have infinite Suspend, Threadlings, etc. If you are having difficulties, it is a good idea to have one player on Strand.

Volatile Rounds are OP

Since there is pretty decent enemy density, you can not go wrong with using Volatile Rounds. For those of you who do not know, there are multiple ways of getting Volatile Rounds i.e., Echo of Instability, Gyrfalcon’s Hauberk, and, Volatile Flow (only in Season of Defiance).

Aside from this, things that can clear enemies really quickly are also good options. These include Chain Reaction, Machine Guns, Witherhoard, Roaming Supers, etc.

These tips should help you easily complete Defiant: Battleground on Legend difficulty in Destiny 2. If there are any other questions that you have got, be sure to let us know in the comments below!
