The Imbaru Engine is a puzzle in Destiny 2: Season of the Witch that you must complete to earn the Haruspex title. While not overly-complicated like the good old Corridors of Time, Niobe Labs, etc. it can still be fairly confusing. There are two tests that you will need to complete in the Imbaru Engine. You should also note that these tests are not available from the beginning and you must unlock them first. In this guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about completing the Imbaru Engine in Destiny 2: Season of the Witch.
Destiny 2 Imbaru Engine
There are two tests that you will need to complete in the Imbaru Engine. Here is a quick overview of these challenges:
Week 5 — The Cunning Test
The first thing that you will need to do is to complete the Test of Cunning. To complete it, you will need to open every chest in the area with the ‘X’ symbol instead of the ‘Jellyfish’ one. Opening the chest with the ‘Jellyfish’ symbol will require you to reset the entire thing. It is also spread across multiple rounds. After each round, you will need to open additional chests with the ‘X’ symbol. The final round can be very confusing. You will need to open three correct chests from multiple wrong ones.
Here is a small video demonstration to help you figure it out:
Once you have completed it, you will complete a Seasonal Challenge along with the Triumph Mother triumph.
Week 6 — The Strength Test
For this one, you will need to collect an Opaque Card in the Savathun’s Spire. In order to find it, you will need to face the portal to the final boss and look to your right. Once you have that, you will need to visit the Lecturn in the Athenaeum. This will open another door in the Imbaru Engine.
To complete this one, you will need to defeat Knights on the plates, follow the arrow to the next Knight, and keep on going until all the Knights are defeated. In the 2nd round, defeat the first Cursed Thrall and then defeat enemies on every other plate — you will need to leap-frog to the next one. As long as you do not see the message saying ‘Your March is Halted’ you should be good to continue. If you defeat the incorrect enemy, you will be surrounded by enemies before dying. Successfully completing the Week 6 will reward you with The Knight Morph triumph.
