Season of the Haunted comes with a brand new dungeon, Duality, that has its own Exotic tied to it. It is an Exotic Sword that turns the wielder invisible after a Charged HA and also grants increased damage while the wielder is invisible. In this Destiny 2 guide, we have detailed all there is to know about how to unlock Heartshadow, the Exotic Sword from the Duality dungeon.
Destiny 2 Heartshadow
While not the most overpowered weapon out there, Heartshadow is a fun weapon to use. If built around properly, it can make a Void Hunter invisible for a long time. But how does one get it?
Acquiring the Heartshadow is luck dependent since it has a chance to drop from the last boss of the new Duality dungeon. A couple of people in our clan acquired it after a single completion while others were not so fortunate.
However, this time around, Bungie has done good with badluck-protection. There are multiple triumphs associated with the new dungeon and each of these triumphs continue to increase the drop-rate of Heartshadow. And while we do not have any numbers behind, we know that it works.
Another important thing to keep in mind is that it can only drop from the 1st completion of the week – subsequent runs do not count. We have also heard reports from some people that it is also account-wide. For instance, if the 1st completion of the week was on a Warlock, completing the dungeon with Titan/Hunter will not have a chance to earn it – this, however, is not proven.
Therefore, we recommend knocking out these Duality-associated triumphs since they are easy and fun to complete, especially with a decent team. And it will drop sooner or later.
This is all we have got in how to get Heartshadow in Destiny 2. Feel free to check out our detailed Destiny 2 wiki page for more help on the game.
