Ghost Writer is a returning Title in Destiny 2 that you can get during Festival of the Lost. Like other Titles, there are a number of triumphs that you need to complete to unlock it. Destiny 2: Ghost Writer Title
Unlike previous years, there are only five triumphs that you need to complete to earn the Title. One of these triumphs, however, is to complete the Event Card which can be pretty tedious. Moreover, you need to complete these triumphs during Festival of the Lost.

One of Many
You need to defeat all the Headless Ones in a Haunted Sector. It should not be hard as long as you have a decent competitive fireteam.
Masked Mayhem
You need to complete a Dungeon, Raid, or a Nightfall on Master or higher while wearing a Mask. The easiest way to do this is to get a checkpoint for the last boss of Shattered Throne, kill her, and you will earn the triumph.
Deathless One
You need to complete a Haunted Sector without dying. Once again, it should not be hard if you are careful.
Sweet Tooth
Simply collect a total of 30,000 Candy.
