Destiny 2 Garden of Salvation A Link to the Chain

Unlike other raids, you don’t need to pick up the challenge from Suraya Hawthorne – it’s always active. As for the challenge itself, it’s related to the 2nd encounter. In order to complete the challenge, all 6 players must tether at exactly the same time. You’ll have room of about 2-3 seconds but not more than that.

There are a couple of ways using which you can complete the challenge – a slightly complicated way and a more complicated way. Let’s talk about these in detail:

Before we begin, do note that the relay where the Rally Flag is placed is 1, top-left one is 2, top-middle one is 3, and top-right one is 4. It’s important to keep the numbers in mind!

Method #1

After starting the encounter, all 6 players should tether at Relay #1. Once done, 2 players should stay at Relay #1 and the other 4 should move to Relay #2. Now 4 players on Relay #2 and 2 players on Relay #1 should count down and tether at the same time.

After done successfully, one player should stay at Relay #2, 2 players should stay at Relay #1, and the other 3 players should move toward Relay #3. Everyone should clear adds as quickly as possible. When it’s time to tether, the player on Relay #2 should come back to Relay #1 using the teleporter. In this way, 3 players on Relay #1 and 3 players on Relay #3 will tether at the same time.

From there, one player from Relay #1 will return to Relay #2 to clear adds, one player will stay at Relay #3, and the final 2 should make their way to Relay #4. When everything’s cleared, the players from Relay #1 and Relay #3 will converge at Relay #2 and tether alongside players on Relay #4.

Once all Relays have been activated, you’ll always tether at Relay #2 and Relay #4 – 3 players on each. Try to minimize deaths and make sure to call your Angelics. Also, note that the challenge isn’t over until you get the chests. What it means is that after you converge at the middle, all 6 of you must tether together.

Method #2

This method is a little difficult to pull off but is relatively faster. To do so, leave 2 players on Relay #1, start the encounter but don’t kill the Angelic. Instead, try to stay alive and let 2 players reach Relay #2 (left side) and other 2 reach Relay #4 (right side). The reason why you shouldn’t kill the Angelic is to prevent shielded enemies from spawning.

Once all players have reached their respective Relays, eliminate the Angelics at the same time and tether after a countdown. From there, one player from Relay #2 and one player from Relay #4 should converge on Relay #3 and the rest should just clear adds.

Once 2 players have cleared Relay #3, 4 players should converge on Relay #1 and tether alongside players on Relay #3. Once all Relays have been activated, repeat the same process as explained in the first method.
