Fishing is a new activity that has been added to Destiny 2 as part of Season of the Deep. You can take part in the activity to get legendary and exotic rewards. In this Destiny 2 fishing guide, we go over some tips and tricks that will help you catch exotic fish.
Tips To Catch Exotic Fish In Destiny 2
The following are some tips that you should keep in mind when fishing in Destiny 2:
Check Your Fishing Tackle For “Increased Activity”
You can head into your inventory, and hover over the Fishing Tackle to learn where the increased activity is. This is where you should go to catch fish.
Keep Bait
You will need to keep some bait. Without it, catching higher-tier fish and getting better rewards is going to be harder.
Farm Ponds With 3+ People
You should fish at a pond with at least 3 people. If you do not have some friends with you then you can reload the area until you find a couple of people around the pond. With more people, the Focused Fishing bar fills up faster and the probability of getting better rewards increases. So the more people you have fishing the higher the chances of catching exotic fish.
Complete The Efficient Angler Challenge
Complete the Efficient Angler challenge in the seasonal challenges. This will have a chance to refund a bait if you use bait to catch fish. This will allow you to catch fish more efficiently.
