The Epochal Integration is the hand cannon from the Destiny 2 Lightfall key art and is now available as part of Season of the Deep. Since the weapon looks so good, you might be interested in getting it. In this Destiny 2 guide, we go over how you can get the Epochal Integration and whether it is even worth it.
How To Get Epochal Integration Hand Cannon In Destiny 2
Before you can start the quest for the Epochal Integration hand cannon, you need to complete the Unfinished Business exotic quest that rewards you with Deterministic Chaos. You also need to complete the campaign of Lightfall. Once you have done that, you can head over to Nimbus on Neptune to get the quest called Parting the Evil.
In the first part of the quest, you will need to get tracking data by defeating Cabal enemies. Not every cabal you kill is going to drop data so you will need to kill a couple of them. You can head over to Ahimsa Park, where plenty of Cabal spawn to complete this step of the quest.
After that, you need to head over to Maya’s Retreat where you need to clear enemies and the shielded Harpies. After that, you will need to head over to Irkalla Complex. You can track the quest to find the exact location easily. Once you get to the location you need to clear and then interact with the conflux.
Now the mission Parting the Veil will become available so launch it and defeat the tormentor at the end. Be sure to bring a weapon that deals critical damage. Now head back to the Hall of Heroes and get the Epochal Integration hand cannon from the Pouka Pond. You will also be able to get additional Strand aspects from the table. You do not have to repeat the quest steps for all your subclasses and the aspect is free.
Is The Epochal Integration Hand Cannon Worth It?
Epochal Integration looks great and since it was part of the Destiny 2 Lightfall key art, I can see why people are excited about getting it. But it does not have a lot of range and there are better hand cannons that you can use in PvP. Ace of Spades and Rose are some of the better options that you can use. In PvE, the Epochal Integration is pretty good. The stats for all, scorch and nanotech tracer rocket combination are pretty good and I can see players making it work. Especially when there is a solar surge.
