The Dragon’s Breath exotic rocket launcher is back in Destiny 2 as part of Season of the Wish. You can make the most of the weapon if you get its exotic catalyst. The game does not really tell you how you can get the catalyst. In this Destiny 2 guide, I go over how you can get the exotic catalyst for the Dragon’s Breath rocket launcher.
How To Get Exotic Catalyst For Dragon’s Breath In Destiny 2?
To get the exotic catalyst for Dragon’s Breath in D2, you first need to get the weapon. If you own the season pass, then you get the weapon from the very start of the season, but if you are on the free track, then you will need to level up the battle pass to unlock the weapon.
Once you have Dragon’s Breath, you need to head over to Banshee-44 to get the exotic catalyst quest. The quest is called An Old Flame, and you can pick it up to add it to your quests tab. To recreate the exotic catalyst, you will need to defeat 50 scorched targets and 5 bosses.
What Does The Exotic Catalyst Do?
The Dragon’s Breath exotic catalyst improves the passive fuel regeneration of the weapon. When you kill an enemy with the weapon, Firesprites are formed, which burn and damage enemies nearby. This makes the weapon viable in pretty much any situation. The catalyst will also Masterwork the rocket launcher, making one of its base stats improved beyond the basic capabilities.
