How to Get No Time to Explain in Destiny 2: Beyond Light

To get the No Time to Explain in the game, you’ll need to complete a fairly long quest. But before we get to the quest, let’s talk about its intrinsic trait called Rewind Again and weapon perks:

  • Rewind Again: It lets precision hits and shots against combatants slowed or frozen by Statis return ammo to the magazine.
  • Time-Slip: At 10 stacks of Rewind Again, a small portal will open, shooting bullets from an alternate timeline version of the weapon. Precision shots extend the portal’s duration.
  • Full-Auto: You can continue to hold the trigger to fire the gun in full-auto mode.

Remember that you don’t need to get precision kills with the weapon. As long as you continue to land precision shots, you’ll keep on getting Rewind Again stacks. On top of it, you won’t lose any stacks for missing precision shots.

No Time to Explain Quest and Exotic Catalyst
There isn’t a separate questline for No Time to Explain like the Salvation’s Grip. To get the gun, all you need to do is to complete the main campaign of Beyond Light and then speak to Exo Stranger on Europa.

You’ll also receive the exotic catalyst which increases the rate of fire of the time portal. To complete the catalyst, you can continue to use the gun or head over to the Shuro Chi encounter in the Last Wish raid.

No Time to Explain Tips and Tricks
No Time to Explain is interesting in the sense that it pairs up really well with Arc Souls from bottom-tree Stormcaller and Getaway Artist exotic gauntlets. The time portal, for some reason, can also damage immune enemies. However, it doesn’t affect the shields of Barrier Champions which is a huge letdown. Even then, it’s a pretty decent add-clearing weapon that you can use to replace Outbreak Perfected if you didn’t manage to get the catalyst.
