Thanks to Arc 3.0, Titans can cosplay Warlocks by throwing a crazy amount of Grenades. The idea of the build is to use Heart of Inmost Light to empower your Grenade and use it to Jolt targets while creating Ionic Traces, Elemental Wells, etc. to keep on refreshing it. In this Destiny 2 guide, we have detailed the best Arc 3.0 build for Titans alongside recommended Aspects, Fragments, Exotics, Weapons, and Mods.
Before we begin, I recommend going through our Arc 3.0 Guide to get a better understanding of new mechanics such as Amplified, Jolt, etc.
For the build, I have also tried to keep the usage of Seasonal Mods to a minimum. This should allow you to continue using the build in the upcoming seasons. With that out of the way, here are the things that we recommend you run:
Weapons | Forebearance, Delicate Tomb, Cloudstrike, Coldheart, Something with Voltshot |
Exotic | HoIL, Cuirass of the Falling Star |
Aspects | Touch of Thunder, Knockout |
Fragments | Spark of Shock, Spark of Ions, Spark of Magnitude, Spark of Recharge |
Armor Mods | x2 Elemental Ordnance, Seeking Wells, Explosive Wellmaker, Bountiful Wells, Bomber x2, Grenade Kickstart, Resist Mods, Stat Mods, Champion Mods |
Misc. | Storm Grenade, Thundercrash, Thruster |
The entire build revolves around enhancing your Storm Grenades as much as you can. Thanks to Touch of Thunder, your Storm Grenades will chase after enemies, sort of like Silence and Squall. For some reason, Explosive Wellmaker works with Storm Grenades, therefore, with the setup shared above, you should be able to get 90% of your Grenade Energy back if you manage to defeat 2-3 enemies with a Grenade.
For the Exotic Armor, I cannot stress enough about using HoIL. You simply need to use Thruster/Barricade followed by using your Melee to empower your Grenade by x2. By this time, you should have most of your abilities back to start the rotation once more. For single-target DPS, you can switch to Cuirass of the Falling Star in order to Thundercrash and switch back to HoIL again.

As for your weapons, you can use any of the options shared above. For the stats, you need to have T10 Resilience and around T8 Discipline if you can manage it without ruining your other stats completely.
Boss DPS Setup
This setup is used by 3x WF raider, Saltagreppo. The idea of this setup is to use Storm Grenades as a single-target option. However, one thing that you need to keep in mind is that it requires some swaps. The idea of this setup is to get Charged with Light x5 using the following mods:
- Taking Charge, Siphon Mod, Stacks on Stacks, Supercharged, Charged Up
After you are CWL x5, you need to switch to 5x Firepower. Once that is done, use your Class Ability, Melee, and then continue to spam Storm Grenades until you run out.
