There is not a whole lot has changed when it comes to Arc 3.0 for Hunters. We are still relying on the good old Liar’s Handshake and punching everything to death. However, thanks to new stuff such as Amplified and Jolt, it is looking better than ever before. In this Destiny 2 guide, we have detailed the best Arc 3.0 build for Hunter alongside recommended Aspects, Fragments, Exotics, Weapons, and Mods.
Before we begin, I recommend going through our Arc 3.0 Guide to get a better understanding of new mechanics such as Amplified, Jolt, etc.
For the build, I have also tried to keep the usage of Seasonal Mods to a minimum. This should allow you to continue using the build in the upcoming seasons. With that out of the way, here are the things that we recommend you run:
Weapons | Any 1-2 Punch Shotgun |
Exotic | Liar’s Handshake |
Aspects | Lethal Current, Flow State |
Fragments | Spark of Frequency, Spark of Resistance, Spark of Recharge, Spark of Shock |
Armor Mods | Melee Wellmaker, Well of Ions, Powerful Friends, Font of Might, Seeking Wells, Resist Mods, Champion Mods, Stat Mods |
Misc. | Gathering Storm, Combination Blow, Gambler’s Dodge |
This build is as simple as it can get. You just need to run around and punch everything in the true Titan way. 2 things that you need to make the build function i.e., Liar’s Handshake and a 1-2 Punch SG. All you need to do is to punch something, dodge, punch again, and continue to repeat. For more single-target DPS, shotgun, punch, punch, dodge, and repeat.

For the Super, I recommend the new Gathering Storm as it deals quite a lot of damage. If you can use something like a Xenoclast, Font of Might can be a good option as well.
This is all we have got in our Destiny 2 Hunter Arc 3.0 Build guide. Be sure to see our detailed Destiny 2 wiki for more help on the game.
