Desperados 3 Difficulty Settings

The newly released Desperados 3 has 4 different types of difficulty settings. In this guide, we will explain how each difficulty setting works and how it changes the game for the player. As I said, there are 4 difficulty settings (Beginner, Normal, Hard, and Desperado) and of them are available from the get-go. You can choose from any of the 4 difficulty levels and complete the game from start to finish.

Desperados 3 All Difficulty Settings

While you can complete the game at difficulty level but make sure you avoid the Desperado mode until you have a better understanding of the game and its mechanics. Moreover, you don’t have to complete the entire game on the same difficulty setting. There are also some special badges linked to higher difficulty levels but the game doesn’t let you complete any challenges on Beginner difficulty.

Beginner Difficulty

In the beginner difficulty, few enemies appear on the map and heroes get more health points than any other setting.

  • Health Points: Hector 6, others 4
  • Ammo and supplies: Cooper 8, McCoy 5, Hector 4, Kate 5, Isabelle 4
  • Supply Crates on the Map: Cooper 6, McCoy 4, Hector 4, Kate 4, Isabelle 2
  • Hero Detection Speed: Normal 0.7, Alarm 0.9

Normal Difficulty

In the Normal Difficulty Setting an acceptable amount of enemies to appear on the map. Ammo and supplies are less than the Beginner Difficulty level.

  • Health Points: Hector 5, others 3
  • Ammo and supplies: Cooper 8, McCoy 4, Hector 3, Kate 4, Isabelle 3
  • Supply Crates on the Map: Cooper 6, McCoy 3, Hector 2, Kate 3, Isabelle 2
  • Hero Detection Speed: Normal 1.0, Alarm 1.4

Hard Difficulty

In the Hard Difficulty Setting the player will experience a large number of enemies on the map. Ammo and supplies will be less than the other two lower difficulty settings of Desperados 3.

  • Health Points: Hector 4, others 2
  • Ammo and supplies: Cooper 6, McCoy 3, Hector 2, Kate 3, Isabelle 3
  • Supply Crates on the Map: Cooper 4, McCoy 3, Hector 2, Kate 2, Isabelle 2
  • Hero Detection Speed: Normal 2.8, Alarm 3.5

Desperado Difficulty

In the Desperado Difficulty mode, players will experience a relentless amount of enemies in the map. Ammo and supplies will be extremely limited.

  • Health Points: Hector 4, others 2
  • Ammo and supplies: Cooper 4, McCoy 2, Hector 2, Kate 2, Isabelle 3
  • Supply Crates on the Map: Cooper 2, McCoy 2, Hector 1, Kate 2, Isabelle 2
  • Hero Detection Speed: Normal 10, Alarm 10
