As you traverse the stunningly recreated post-apocalyptic Venice Beach in Dead Island 2, you’ll come across various intriguing side quests that add depth to the game’s immersive world. Among these quests is the Lost & Found side quest titled “Jo’s Rainy Day Stash,” which follows the story of Jo, a supposed Dutch man who managed two local rental shops and his desperate attempts to escape the zombie-infested Hell-A before it’s too late.

How to Complete Jo’s Rainy Day Stash Lost & Found Quest
- Starting Location: Venice Beach
- Requirement: Main Quest: The Red Mist to reach Venice Beach
- Reward: Primed Crowbar (Unique Weapon), 2000 XP
- Where to Start the Quest: Jo’s Rentals, Venice Beech
To start the quest need to visit Jo’s Rentals in Venice Beech and grab the phone from the left counter. You can then grab Jo’s staff room key from the right counter.
Things get pretty simple from here on; all you need to do is follow the paper trail to Jo’s kick-ass weapon. For that, we must find two journals, that are different from the Truth Journals we have discussed in an earlier guide. The first journal is inside Jo’s Surf & Skate Rentals. You will find the journal sitting on the cashier’s counter.
The second journal is behind Jo’s Rentals but it is with Jo himself, who is now a zombie. Fight him in the parking lot behind Jo’s Rentals to get the final journal for Rainy Day Stash Lost & Found Quest.
The final objective is to find and open Jo’s secret stash in Dead Island 2. Now that you have both journals, the location of the secret stash is marked on the map. Jo’s secret stash location is right next to Jo’s Surf & Skate Rentals.
Inside the stash, you will find the Primed Crowbar (Unique Weapon); thus, concluding Jo’s Rainy Day Stash Lost & Found Quest.
