After over a decade-long wait, Dead Island 2 is finally out so let the zombie killing commence. To start off, the game will want you to choose from its pool of playing characters and one of the most fun ones is Carla. This Mexican hothead is all fire and resilient at heart which makes her the perfect pick for anyone looking to explore every nook and cranny of the open world. She is agile, and tough, and her Innate Skills allow her to escape tough situations.

Carla, like her peers, has her own Innate Skills and Attributes that make her unique. In this guide, we will discuss everything you need to know about her Innate Skills and Attributes, and how you can utilize Carla in Dead Island 2.

Note: Innate Skills are passives so you don’t have to activate them.

Dead Island 2 Carla Innate Skills

Let’s first talk about Carla’s Innate Skills, there are two:

  • Most Pit
  • Dig Deep

Most Pit

Carla, when close to multiple zombies will get a small damage boost. This innate ability can help her finish off zombies but also help her escape in case things get too dangerous. This ability works best when combined with Meat Baits. Distract zombies with a Meat Bait to clump them together and attack.

Dig Deep

This second Innate Skill allows Carla to have a moderate Toughness boost when her HP is critical. When trapped in a zombie horde and low on health, Dig Deep can help Carla push through and escape.

How to Play With Carla

Carla is a fun character to play and since she is agile and her skills complement that, being stealthy is the best course of action. Use silent takedowns and when trapped in the middle of a horde, use a meat bait to distract enemies, and make good use of the Mosh Pit passive that gives a damage boost when close to multiple enemies.

Craft the claws as soon as you can because that will really boost your melee damage.
