During the second chapter of Dave the Diver, Otto, a fellow diver, will visit your sushi bar and ask you to make him Morey Curry. This requires a Moray Eel. Completing this mission is important since it unlocks the Fish Farm. In this Dave The Diver guide, we go over how you can catch a Moray Eel.
How To Catch Moray Eel In Dave The Diver
Moray Eel can be found in the shallow waters of Blue Hole, but they hide during the day and can occasionally come out to attack you and then head back into hiding. So you will need to dive at night in order to catch one. Fortunately, once you interact with Otto, you unlock the ability to dive at night. Do note that diving at night is going to take up one-third of the evening, and the sushi bar will not be operational during this time. So you will be losing out on potential profits if you decide to go night diving often.
Moray Eel Location
Since Moray Eel can be found in shallow waters, you do not need to go deeper than 50 meters. You will be able to find one around 35 meters deep. You can only find these at night, and you can only dive once per night, so you should focus on finding the Moray Eel rather than catching other sea creatures. If you are tracking the side mission, then the eel will be marked with a blue marker.
The Moray Eel is going to try and attack you, so you need to look out for that. You can kill it with your gun, but if you want to get good quality Moray Eel then we recommend using a Net Gun. The eel is not hard to catch and only takes a couple of hits with your harpoon or gun.
Once you have the Moray Eel, you can take it back to the sushi bar to serve it to Otto. This is what you need to know about finding and catching a Moray Eel in Dave the Diver.
