Darksiders Genesis 4K Gameplay Requires GTX 1080 Ti At Least

Darksiders Genesis might not look like a very demanding game and if you are playing the game on 1080p but things change drastically at 4K. The game is going to run fine on high settings using the AMD Radeon R9 380X or Nvidia GTX 960 4GB.

Increasing the resolution does change things. This Diablo-like game can be very graphics intensive. At 1440p you will need an R9 Nano or GTX 1060 6Gb at high settings. Increase the resolution to 4K and the requirements get really high indeed.

You will need the GTX 1080 Ti to run the game at 4K 60 FPS. Higher-end graphics cards perform better but at high settings, the RTX 2080 Ti is able to run at the game at 80 FPS. It is worth mentioning that these numbers are for the High preset. You can change or tweak the settings a little bit to get better performance if you are having a little trouble hitting that 60 FPS sweet spot.

These cards were tested with the Intel 9900K so that there is no CPU bottleneck. With that said, even though the game does not look like much, you need some serious power in order to run the Darksiders Genesis at 4K 60 FPS. Luckily you do not need the most recent RTX 2080 but the older GTX 1080 Ti.

While we are talking about Darksiders Genesis, it is worth mentioning that while the game is great it is not perfect. The game does have a couple of issues. If you have encountered some of these issues then you can check out our guide on how you can fix multiple errors that the game has.
