CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a GeForce Now release later this year. The open-world RPG will release on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and GeForce Now.  The announcement means that if you have bought already or plan to in the near future, you will be able to stream it via Nvidia’s GeForce Now.

CYBERPUNK 2077 WILL BE AVAILABLE ON GEFORCE NOW THE DAY IT’S RELEASED! GEFORCE NOW MEMBERS WILL BE ABLE TO GRAB THEIR COPY ON STEAM AND PLAY THE GAME THE MOMENT IT’S AVAILABLE. GEFORCE NOW FOUNDERS MEMBERS CAN EXPLORE THE STREETS OF NIGHT CITY WITH RTX ON, FULLY OPTIMIZED AND INSTANTLY AVAILABLE, EVEN ON A MAC LAPTOP. WE’RE THRILLED TO WORK WITH CD PROJEKT RED TO BRING ITS EAGERLY-ANTICIPATED GAME TO GEFORCE NOW. AND WHILE YOU WAIT, BE SURE TO CHECK OUT CDPR’S CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED WITCHER SERIES, ALSO AVAILABLE TO PLAY THROUGH GEFORCE NOW. WE’RE PC GAMERS TOO, SO WE’LL BE RIGHT THERE WITH YOU PLAYING CYBERPUNK ON DAY ONE.

Cyberpunk 2077 PC players will also be treated with the limited edition Cyberpunk 2077 RTX 2080Ti. Nvidia also confirmed that GeForce Now players will get access to RTX features without owning an RTX graphics card. This means that even if you don’t own an RTX card, you can enjoy the features using Nvidia’s streaming service. However, the feature won’t work on the free version of the service. To use the RTX features on Cyberpunk 2077 you will need the $5 GeForce Now subscription.

Cyberpunk 2077 is releasing on September 17.

  1. I can see it now. I order the game and download it for 10 hrs only to have it stutter and crash on my 90 mbps internet connection. I would advise letting this system vet it’s self for at least 1 yr before attempting to use it. I can imagine a ton of issues. I also have so many questions like; do you have to download the game every time you play it first? What is the min internet speed for a reliable connection and smooth gameplay? If this works well then are not video card makers all going to go out of business?
