Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Endings

Before we begin, note that there are major spoilers here. You have been warned!

The main choice which largely determines the ending in The Phantom Liberty is related to Songbird. In the Firestarter mission, you will get 2 choices:

  • Help Songbird Escape.
  • Help Reed Capture Songbird.

You can also create a manual save of your progress here if you want to experience everything in a single run.

Help Songbird Escape

This choice completely prevents you from fighting Kurt Hansen.

Aside from being a very cool encounter, he drops a lot of items you will miss. Soon after deciding to send Songbird to the clinic, you will learn that there is only one cure that she intends to use on herself. This is where you will need to make some more choices:

  • You can hand over Songbird to Reed.
  • You can kill Reed before letting her aboard the shuttle.
  • You can change your mind at the last minute and let Reed capture her from outside the shuttle.

There are some minor choices you can make as well. These are:

  • You can bargain for the cure.
  • You can let Reed capture Songbird but kill him at the last sec.
  • You can ignore texts from Reed.

Help Reed Capture Songbird

In this ending, you will need to fight Kurt Hansen. It is an incredibly designed encounter with a lot of cool loot in the end. You will need to continue through the mission until you are presented with these choices:

  • Kill Songbird.
  • Hand her over to Reed.

If you decide to help Reed, he will promise you to help you get of the Relic. You will get a call from Reed about the cure a few days later. This is where you will need to meet with Johnny Silverhand at the roof of Misty’s Esoterica.

It is important to note that this is a point-of-no-return so be sure to complete any questlines, collectibles, etc. before you choose to do this. You can also create a manual save of your progress if you wish to change your mind later on.

Once you decide to go cure yourself, you will not be able to use Chrome or Cyberware anymore. You will simply get to live your life as a normal human.

This, however, is the new secret ending for the base game. You will not be able to unlock this ending if you killed Songbird.

This is everything we have got on all the endings in Cyberpunk 2077: The Phantom Liberty. If there is anything else that you would like to add, be sure to let us know in the comments down below!
