Gangs In Cyberpunk 2077
The following are all the different gangs in Cyberpunk 2077 that you can encounter and what you need to know about them:
The maelstrom gang is obsessed with cybernetic enhancements and this is a characteristic that you will find common among the gang members. The members have extremely modified their bodies and are ruthless. Most people are not fond of the gang and avoid them as much as possible. With dealing with them, keep your trigger finger ready and weapons loaded.
The Voodoo Boys are the best netrunners in Night City. They follow Haitian culture and traditions. You can ask them for help when you need data or dirt from the net or need access beyond the Blackwall. They are not known for making friends so keep an eye out.
6th Street Gang
This gang was formed when small business owners went out of business because the corporations took their customers. The local gangs started harassing them as well. A couple of war veterans then decided to take matters into their own hands. 6th Street Gang now controls Santo Domingo.
The base of operations for The Mox is Lizzie’s Bar. This is where you can experience braindance and find all kinds of sex workers. This is the place you want to come to if you want to have a good time. The Mox are touchy about their joy toys so you will have to remain in line and try not to trigger them.
These are the people that worship Santa Muerte and Jesus Malverde. You will find them in Heywood which they are very proud of.
This gang runs Japantown and Kabuki. It deals in Dollhouses, illegal braindances, gambling halls and street-food stalls. If you visit any of these places then know that your money is going to the Tyger Claws.
These are brawlers that are jacked as hell. The members are immune to pain. You will find them where there is extortion or a lesson that needs to be taught.
Besides these gangs, you have other factions such as Scavengers and Nomads. You also have Fixers that can give you missions to complete. The following is what you need to know about them:
Scavengers are scattered all across Night City. They are mostly migrants from Eastern Europe and specialize in smuggling and kidnapping. They also have access to the black-market cyberwar that includes some deadly military-grade stuff that you will not find anywhere else. To scavengers, a person is only as valuable as the parts they can be divided into.
Nomads are mostly ex-farmers who came together during times of crisis. They are continuously on the move and wander around the country. They set up temporary camps and look for work where possible.
Almost all of the nomads belong to one of the seven powerful nations that have their own leader but then you have Raffen Shiv, the Nomads that have been kicked out of their nations. Raffen Shiv do not have any real identity or leader and is a group of rejects living on the edge of town.
Fixers are not one of the factions in the game but they are a group of NPCs that you are going to interact with. Fixers are the ones that are going to assign you jobs. Fixers can be anyone, ex mercs, corporate employees and even gang members. Fixers do not idealize or believe in change and often do not look further than the next job that needs to be done.
