How To Get A-22B Chao
To begin your quest for the A-22B Chao, you’ll first need to initiate the “Chippin’ In” side mission. This mission becomes available after completing the main story mission called “Tapeworm.” Once the side mission is accessible, head over to the Afterlife bar where you’ll meet Rogue. Engage in a conversation with her about Smasher, which is crucial for the mission’s storyline.
As you proceed through the “Chippin’ In” mission, you’ll eventually find yourself in a confrontation with a character named Grayson. Upon defeating Grayson, you’ll be presented with a choice: to spare him or to end his life. Regardless of your decision, you’ll gain access to a key that Grayson has been holding.
With the key in hand, locate the nearby container that it unlocks. Inside this container, you’ll find the coveted A-22B Chao pistol, ready for you to add to your arsenal.
Note: You can still get the key to the container by looting Grayson’s body if you kill him.
