Crytek and EA are currently working on an “unannounced  AAA” game. The title of the project is unknown but it seems it’s more than likely to be Crysis 4. Moreover, Crysis 4 or whatever this new project is it features ray-tracing. According to a new job listing, Crytek is looking for a  ray-tracing specialist to work on this unannounced project.

Crytek is looking for a motivated and passionate Senior Rendering Engineer with a focus on real-time raytracing for the CRYENGINE team in our Frankfurt am Main, Germany studio.

The listing comes right in the middle of Crytek’s teases via the official Crysis Twitter page. The latest tease came just a few hours ago. The official Twitter page wrote: “Hey Nomad, you’re still with us?”

The official website link has now been removed. The studio is looking for developers to work on this unannounced project which we think might be Crysis 4.  Crysis games are known to test the might of your PCs. If Crysis 4 features ray-tracing. it’ll only add to the power required to run it.

Crysis 4 Or Crysis Remasters?

At this point, it is hard to say if Crytek is working on the next Crysis or creating remasters for all three games. Seeing the popularity of remasters these days, it wouldn’t be surprising if these teases are nothing more than remasters. Not get me wrong, it would be great to play the games again but fingers crossed for Crysis 4 and ray-tracing.
