Elden Ring has multiple spirits that you can summon. These are going to help you traverse the open world and beat bosses. Getting The Cleanrot Knight Finlay Spirit Ashes In Elden Ring
Cleanrot Knight Finlay is a very versatile summon and can even compete with the Mimic. The Scarlet Rot builds up over time and does damage over time which can be very useful against boss fights. As it does holy damage as well, it is great against enemies that are weak to it. The physical damage resistance buff that the summon applies is reapplied automatically while it is alive.
How To Get To The Haligtree Secret Area
To get the Cleanrot Knight Finlay Spirit Ashes, you need to head over to the Haligtree secret area of the game. You can get there by finding the two Haligtree Secret Medallions. You can get one half in the Village of the Albinauries and the other half is in Castle Sol.
Once you have both halves, you can head over to the Grand Lift of Rold and Hoise the Medallion. This will unlock the secret area. Without giving too much away, you need to head over to Aldina and complete the puzzle which involves you lighting 4 fires.
Once you have completed the puzzle you will get a prompt and you can then head over to the northern point of the town and take the teleporter to the Haligtree region. Now you need to progress the area until you reach the Prayer Room Site of Grace.
Once here you need to head east. Proceed straight and the path will curve towards the left. Head down the steps and jump off to the right onto the platform shown in the image below.
You can then jump onto the platform which is going to be on your left. Head into the room on your left and inside you will find the chest that has the Cleanrot Knight Finlay Spirit Ashes.
How To Eliminate FP Cost
The only drawback to this summon is the high FP cost of 127. If you do not have enough points invested in mind then you can use the Cerulean Hidden Tear which eliminates all FP consumption when you use your Flask of Wondrous Physick.
To get the Cerulean Hidden Tear you need to head over to the minor erdtrea which is near the Volcano Manor area. Here you will need to fight a boss. Beat it and you will get the Cerulean Hidden Tear. Add this to your Flask of Wondrous Physick in order to use it.
