There are two factions to play from in Chivalry 2. These are Agatha Knight and Mason Order, you will be asked to lead any one of them after the tutorial has ended. Choosing any of the faction won’t affect the storyline that much and even your gameplay mechanics would stay almost the same. That being said, everything you need to know about the factions in Chivalry 2 is present in this guide.

Chivalry 2 Factions – Agatha Knights or Mason Order
The Red and blue team’s conflict is as old as history goes, and in Chivalry 2 you will have to choose either the red or blue team to participate in war and outwit your opponents with your highly skilled tactics and mechanics.

If you are confused about which faction to choose, you are at the right place. If you choose Agatha Knights or Mason Order, you will be matched up with other players playing on the same faction as you, and you will have to compete against the other faction.

There are a few differences between both factions as one faction has something that the other does not contain. If you are playing as Agatha Knights and you don’t like the faction, you can always swap your team from the pause menu, if there is space available on the other team or if the team you are trying to join is not engaged in a mission or match.

There are quite a few cosmetics in the game, which can be unlocked by using in-game currency of Gold or Crowns, and these are Faction specific cosmetics, which means you cannot use a cosmetic applied shield of Agatha Knights in Mason Order.

In conclusion, you don’t need to sweat on what faction you choose, as it doesn’t matter at all. This is everything we have on what faction to choose from in Chivalry 2. For more help on the game, feel free to check out our detailed Chivalry 2 wiki guides.
