Chivalry 2 can be a little intimidating when it comes to the sheer number of combat maneuvers that the game has. We’ve covered some tips for beginners in our Starter Guide. For more advanced users, however, we’ve got some combat techniques that can be used to gain an edge over the opponents. In this guide, we’ve shared some advanced combat tips to make the most out of Chivalry 2.
Chivalry 2 Advanced Combat Tips
Below, we’ve provided a list of some advanced combat tips that can help win more duels:
First, we’ve got the animation control. Looking up while stabbing creates a weird animation that makes it hard for the opponent to get a read. It’s quite simple to take advantage of the animation. Things like a feint, attacks, drag, etc. can work well in these situations. When it comes to weapons, it can be done with swords, polearms, etc. However, remember not to do it against gamblers.
Slash to Slash Feint
For the second one, we’ve got the slash-to-slash feint. This maneuver is all about feinting between the same attacks on different sides – even overheads, stabs, etc. In order to perform it, click the LMB followed by the Alt + LMB. Since not a lot of people are using it right now, it can be used to great advantage. Hopping between slash-to-slash feint and feint-slash into another attack can confuse opponents most of the time.
Feint to Kick
This is another powerful attack that can lead to a good amount of damage. In order to perform it, continue to attack an opponent and feint the combo attack into a kick. Check out the video attached below to learn how to do it:
