This build is pretty simple. You can use any weapon that you like all you really need is the Rotten Stray Ashes spirit summon. These apply the rot status effect that does rot damage over time.
Furthermore, you can use armor or talismans that you have available or prefer since you are not going to attack the boss often and are not going to deal major damage yourself.
How To Cheese Godric The Grafted In Elden Ring
Just as you enter the boss arena, summon the Rotten Stray. These will need to deal a couple of attacks before the damage over time effect is applied. We recommend upgrading the spirit summon as much as possible or distracting the boss. If you have the aggro, you can prevent the spirit summon from dying and successfully apply the rot effect.
You do not have to worry about dealing a lot of damage. You can stay safe and damage from afar while dodging his attacks.
