Weapon And Spirit Summon
The Fallingstar Beast Jaw deals 33 poise damage, allowing you to stun Maliketh a couple of times during the encounter, leaving him open to critical hits. Spam its Gravity Bolt attack to deal damage from a distance.Â
Pair this weapon with the Mimic Tear to agro the boss. Allowing you to deal damage to the boss from a distance. We recommend upgrading the Fallingstar Beast Jaw and the Mimic Tear as much as possible for them to be effective against the Beast Clergyman or Maliketh.
Recommended Talismans
For the talismans, we recommend going with Shabriri’s Woe. This agros the boss to you. You need to have this on when you summon the Mimic Tear and then remove it once the encounter starts. So the boss will agro the Mimic Tear and not you.Â
We also recommend using the Ritual Sword Talisman, which increases your attack power when you are at maximum health. Since your Mimic Tear will take damage from the boss and you will be safe, you will be at maximum health and will take advantage of this buff. Furthermore, you can use the Shard of Alexandar, which buffs the attack power of your skill. This will buff the Gravity Bolt attack.Â
Consumables And Flask Of Wondrous Physick
For consumables, we recommend using Bloodboil Aromatic, which increases physical attacks by 30%, but the main advantage you will have here is that you get +20% stamina for 60 seconds.Â
The Flask of Wondrous Physick mix that we recommend for this build is Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear and Stonebarb Cracked Tear. Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tea boosts fire attacks for a short duration. Stonebarb Cracked Tear makes stance break easier and increases stance damage by 30% allowing you to stun the boss easily. You can pair Stonebarb Cracked Tear with something else if you prefer.
How To Beat Beast Clergyman (Maliketh) In Elden Ring
Once the encounter starts, you need to heat to the right side of the room and take cover behind one of the pillars. This is where you can summon the Mimic Tear. Now you must open your inventory and remove the Shabriri’s Woe talisman so that the boss only attacks the Mimic Tear. Now you can spam Beast Clergyman with the Gravity Bolt attack of the Fallingstar Beast Jaw.
The boss does have a second phase, during which you need to take on Maliketh, but the strategy will remain the same. Keep spamming the Gravity Bolt attack until you have defeated the boss.Â
