CDPR (Cyberpunk 2077) Offers Menstrual Leave To Employees

Companies around the world have started offering menstrual leave to employees. Recently GOG announced this perk for its employees, and it was reported that CDPR might do the same. CDPR has now confirmed that it will be offering menstrual leave to employees.

CDPR Confirms Menstrual Leave For Employees

CD Projekt Red, the developer behind The Witcher games and Cyberpunk 2077, made the announcement on Twitter and mentioned the following:

We’re proud to offer menstrual leave to employees! Team members can now focus on their comfort & health by taking time off when suffering from period pain. It’s all about inclusivity & fostering a supportive workplace. Kudos to GOG for implementing this benefit first!

At the time of writing, we do not have confirmation if this is a paid leave. While there were some negative comments under the post, most people had a very positive reaction, and even GOG’s Twitter account commented, “Extremely exciting stuff! 💜”. This perk is becoming more common, and we hope that more companies offer menstrual leave to their employees in the future.

Many commented that this move was made so that CDPR could get some recognition, but I do not agree with this opinion. CDPR is very well respected in the gaming community and is known for some great business and consumer-friendly practices.

Let us know what you think about GOG and CDPR offering menstrual leave to their employees and whether or not you think more companies should do the same.
