As all veteran players are aware, Call of Duty Modern Warfare does not have any options for obtaining armor. Which is a major lack of battle aesthetics. However, Call of Duty makes up for it in the Warzone mode. This guide will give you all the details you need to use this armor while playing Call of Duty Warzone.
How To Use Armor In Call Of Duty Warzone
The armor available in Warzone does not have any tiers. But it is extremely handy when it comes to increasing your durability and health regeneration. Hence making it a must-have on the battlefield.
At the beginning of any match in CoD Warzone, you are equipped with a pistol and a double-layered armor. In the case of being attacked and losing your armor in a battle royal match, it will only be returned after you repair the armor. Also, keep in mind that if damaged then replacement also initiates self-healing.
For locating the armor plates, you will need to use the map. Once you have collected three plates of armor then you can fully repair your destroyed one. Armor plates can be acquired from different areas on the Warzone map. The areas can be ranging from buildings to caches to crates. You can also get it from the store for $1500. Looting an opponent is another good way to obtain armor.
The game mostly takes a few seconds to order, when an armor plate is applied for. Each person in a squad is able to carry three bars each one of the three armor plates is represented by one bar. This is pretty useful if you are ever out of armor as your teammates can support you then.
In order to be aware of when your armor is lost, all you need to do is focus on the UI or a crunching sound which is indicative of the destruction of the armor plate. Your wisest choice would be to replace the damaged armor as quickly as possible, or it will start affecting your health negatively, eventually killing you. This situation will end up in the 1v1 Gulag Fight, so you better have spare armor plates ready at all times.
The way to replace your armor is simply holding down the Triangle or Y button on the controller, or by pressing 4 on your keyboard. Holding down the button will speed up your process and you can slot in more than just a single time.
