Killstreaks have always been an important part of the Multiplayer Mode in the COD franchise. Keeping in line with the tradition, killstreaks are also present in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and a lot at that. Killstreaks can turn the tables by placing you from 4th to 1st if you get a multi-kill from the killstreak. A total of three killstreaks can be taken into a match. Each killstreak is totally different from the other. This Killstreaks Guide will include all the details on the different killstreaks in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Killstreaks
Killstreaks in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 can be unlocked just by gaining XP and leveling up. Here are all the details on each killstreak and when they unlock in COD: MW.
1. Personal Radar
An escort drone that reveals nearby enemies on the mini-map and audibly pings them in the world. It is available from the start and requires 3 kills to activate.
2. Shield Turret
A manual shielded turret that can be deployed on most surfaces. It is available from the start and requires 3 kills to activate.
3. Counter UAV
A drone that constantly emits a scrambling signal, disabling enemy mini-maps and incrementally disrupting their senses the closer they get to it. It is available at Level 36 and requires 4 kills to activate.
4. UAV
A UAV recon ship that reveals enemy locations on the mini-map. It is available at Level 9 and requires 4 kills to activate.
5. Care Package
Call in a random killstreak care package to your location. It is available at Level 28 and requires 4 kills to activate.
6. Cluster Strike
Signal for a number of cluster mortars to hit the designated location. It is available from the start and requires 5 kills to activate.
7. Cruise Missile
Control a long-range cruise missile with boost capabilities. It is available at Level 45 and requires 5 kills to activate.
8. Precision Airstrike
Call in twin jets for a precision strike along the best available path. It is available at Level 15 and requires 5 kills to activate.
9. Infantry Assault Vehicle
A manned light infantry vehicle with a .50 cal machine gun on top. It is available at Level 44 and requires 7 kills to activate.
10. Sentry Gun
An automated turret that scans for nearby enemies. It is available at Level 13 and requires 7 kills to activate.
11. Wheelson
Remote-controlled UGV with a powerful airburst turret. It is available at Level 23 and requires 7 kills to activate.
12. Emergency Airdrop
Call in three random killstreak care packages to your location. It is available at Level 41 and requires 8 kills to activate.
13. VTOL Jet
Releases an initial missile barrage before guarding the location of the player’s choice. It is available at Level 20 and requires 8 kills to activate.
14. White Phosphorous
Cover the battlefield with white smoke incendiary canisters that will weaken the enemy and burn any that wander too close. It is available at Level 51 and requires 10 kills to activate.
15. Chopper Gunner
Control an assault chopper armed with a turret and air-to-land missiles. It is available from the start and requires 10 kills to activate.
16. Support Helo
Call in a heavy assault helo with twin turrets to patrol the map. It is available at Level 5 and requires 11 kills to activate.
17. Gunship
A heavy assault gunship with three types of armaments. It is available at Level 31 and requires 12 kills to activate.
18. Advanced UAV
Orbital UAC that reveals the enemy’s direction on the mini-map. It is available at Level 48 and requires 12 kills to activate.
19. Juggernaut
Call in a care package that contains the Juggernaut assault gear. The minigun will drop when the Juggernauts dies. It is available at Level 55 and requires 15 kills to activate.
