Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare is around the corner but the game has a more traditional create class system compared to previous games. The create a class system is similar to what you might have seen in the original Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare trilogy. In this guide, we are going to walk you through the different aspects of creating your own class, the different perks and gear that you can use and some other things that you might be interested in knowing about.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Create A Class

The basic loadout has a primary weapon with up to 5 attachments. Then you have the secondary weapon with up to 5 attachments on that. You can get one perk from each of the three different tiers. Other than that you have a lethal equipment item and a tactical equipment item. Those are the basics that you need to know about.

There is nothing crazy like having the ability to get two perks from the same tier or anything like that. 5 attachments on a weapon might seem like a lot but using them will not only have a benefit but a downside as well. So keep that in mind when using them. You will need to lick the attachments depending on your playstyle. In some cases, it might not be ideal to roll with all 5 attachments and you might be better off with just one or two.

Weapons Types

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Create A Class

When it comes to weapons, there are a couple of different categories to choose from. The following are the different weapon types for primary weapons that you can choose from when you create a class in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare:

  • Assault Rifles
  • SMGs
  • Shotguns
  • LMGs
  • Marksman Rifles
  • Sniper Rifles

In the previous games, marksmen rifles and snipers were in the same category but both have been differentiated in Modern Warfare. When it comes to the different weapon types for secondary weapons that you can choose from when you create a class in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare you can only pick pistols or launchers.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare does not have knives, at least not from what we have seen. Knives might be included in the final build of the game and we will update this guide if that is indeed the case.
