Call of Duty Mobile Performance Guide will help you with the best settings that will boost the game’s FPS for a smoother experience.

Call of Duty Mobile Performance

Playing video games on mobile devices can be a hassle. Given that there so many devices in use, a lot of players are bound to face performance and low FPS issues with Call of Duty Mobile.

Here I have compiled a list of things that will help you boost Call of Duty Mobile’s FPS for a smoother experience. For more on Call of Duty Mobile also check out our COD Mobile Perks Guide.

Frame Rate Limit

Call of Duty Mobile mobile offers players the choice to set the FPS limit. By default, the game might have set a low FPS limit. Just go to the settings in the Audio and Graphics category and set the Frame Rate to High.

Stop Unnecessary Background Processes

Another reason for Call of Duty Mobile to have low FPS while playing could be that there are a lot of processes running in the background. For Andriod device users, go to Settings > Applications or Apps and Info > Apps and Force Stop the applications that you aren’t using.

These applications use resources while running which in turn limits the resources the Call Of Duty Mobile can use. Stopping these applications will give a significant boost in performance.

Reduce FOV

Field Of View is another culprit behind Call of Duty Mobile’s low FPS. You need to decrease the FOV as low as possible. The reason why you need to decrease is that, the higher the FOV, the wider the image gets. This, in turn, causes the game to load more textures and some mobile can’t handle the load. Just reduce the FOV and you’ll see improvements in Call of Duty Mobile’s FPS.

Developer Options

If the above tweaks haven’t worked for you or you want Call of Duty Mobile to push out more FPS then there are hidden developer options that might help you boost the game’s performance.

Go to Settings > About Mobile and press the build seven times and open developer options. Make the following changes which will boost Call of Duty Mobile Performance.

  • Set Window Animation Scale to .5x
  • Set Transition Animation Scale to .5x
  • Set Animator Duration Scale to .5x
  • Enable 4x MSAA

Reduce Graphics Quality

By this point, we have been making changes that might help you boost performance while keeping the game’s visual fidelity intact. If they fail to give you an FPS boost, perhaps it’s time to drop the graphics quality. Set the graphics style to standard and turn off Depth of Field.
