There are a lot of abilities to choose from when it comes to Freelancers. Players will most probably be rotating them all the time depending on the composition they’re running with. There are, however, some abilities that are a little better than the others because of the utility that they provide. Some of these abilities are:
Both the ‘JP Up’ and ‘JP Up and Up’ stack on top of one another. This lets players get a whopping 1.7x multiplier bonus that can also be combined multiplier from chaining battles in the game. This is probably the best method for leveling up all the jobs in Bravely Default 2.
Another great ability that lets players learn the locations of all the chests in the area. What makes it even better is that it only shows the chests that are still unopened so players don’t have to worry about getting to the same chest twice. Players will most likely run this ability through the entirety of the game.
This is kind of similar to the Divine Rod ability but instead of chests, it lets players find nearby items. These items include things like XP boosters, healing items, etc. It may not appear much on paper, but it’s an incredibly powerful ability to have.
Specialty / Special Ability
Freelancer’s SP is called All-Out Assault that provides +20% Physical Attack and Magic Attack. However, to use it, players need to use the Attack Command at least 12 times in the game. When it comes to its Specialty, it’s called Stand Ground that gives the Freelancer a 50% chance to survive with one point of HP from an otherwise fatal blow. The effect, however, doesn’t trigger if the Freelancer is already at 1 HP in a battle.
