  • When ending the continuous laser beam, 1 to 8 orbs are fired that deal weapon element splash damage. The longer the laser lasts, the more orbs are fired. Additionally, consecutively firing the Ion Laser increases its damage by about +12.5% per ammo, up to a maximum of +300% damage. The Ion Laser’s damage is considered Assault Rifle damage.

If there is one godly weapon we have to name in the game, it is the Ion Cannon Vladof Launcher. The legendary weapon from Maxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot. The Cannon can shoot a charge upshot that is able to do damage unlike anything else in Borderlands 3.
