Even if he does regenerate the shield don’t worry as you will be accompanied by a friend who will distract the boss so you can get close behind him and let him have it. You can keep distance till his shield is up but the moment it goes down you can rush in and defeat him easily.
The boss is located on Athenas. The boss appears in the main story mission “The Impending Storm”. This boss is very tough to deal because of the huge amount of health and shield he has. Once his shield goes down taking care of his normal hp is easy. Use your abilities to the max potential and this boss will go down in no time. Do bear in mind that if you are not doing enough damage and are facing trouble you should consider leveling up more. Being under-leveled and facing him can be really hard for you.
