How To Get Block Of Ice In Monster Hunter Rise

Monster Hunter Rise has plenty of resources that you are going to need if you want to get the best weapons and armor in the game. You might also need them to progress some parts of the game and defeat some harder monsters. In this Monster Hunter Rise guide, we are going to walk you through how you can get the block of ice.

Getting Block Of Ice In Monster Hunter Rise

The block of ice is a new resource that has been added to the game and you can only get it by defeating the new monster called Goss Harag. This is a big monster that mainly fights you on its two legs.

It can also run around and knock you back when it uses all of its four legs. You can find the monster in Frost Islands. It is native to these lands and it can use frost against you. It has an icy breath and it can also breathe ice on its arms in order to form ice blades on them which is can use to attack you and deal more damage.

In order for you to have the best chance of getting the block of ice in the game, you should wait for the monster to create the ice blades on its arms and then aim for them. Do that and the resource will drop on the ground and you will be able to pick it up. You can also get the resources as a target reward or capture reward but the chance of that happening is pretty low.
