Best Radeon RX 6600 XT To Buy Right Now

Note that prices are very high and we recommend waiting if you can. It is worth mentioning that it has been confirmed that the shortage is going to continue into 2023. The following are the Radeon RX 6600 XT variants that we can recommend right now.

Asus ROG Strix RX 6600 XT OC Edition

The Asus ROG Strix RX 6600 XT OC Edition has a very cyber-looking shroud that is mostly plastic with some aluminum trimmings. There is a full-sized aluminum backplate, and there is a dual BIOS. The card has a single 8-pin connector.

The graphics card takes up 3-slots and while it is combat in length, it does have a pretty beefy cooler. There is some RGB lighting on the card as well. This is one of the best RX 6600 XT variants and one that we can easily recommend.

Asus Dual RX 6600 XT OC Edition

The Asus Dual Radeon RX 6600 XT OC Edition is a dual fan design similar to other Asus Dual models you might have seen. The design is fairly simple, and it should blend in with the rest of your build. The dual-fan cooler is good enough to keep the temperatures in check and under load, the temp did not exceed 55C.

At idle the graphics card consumes 4W of power, and under full load, it takes up 115W on average per hour. The card is pretty silent as well, and in a closed case, you will not be able to hear the card. There is a single 8-pin connector to provide power to it, and it does not feature any RGB lighting. The card can boost to 2607MHz, which is much higher than the reference design model. You can, of course, overclock the card and get even higher clock speeds.

PowerColor Red Devil RX 6600 XT

PowerColor is known for some crazy-looking graphics cards, and here we have the PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX 6600 XT, which does not look over the top, but it is still unique in its own way. This is a 2.5-slot card and comes with a pretty beefy cooler so that you can expect cool temps and silent operation.

The Red Devil does come with RGB lighting, and there is a dual BIOS. The shroud is made of plastic, but it is more premium than some other variants on the market right now. It does come with 8+6-pin power connectors. The card also comes with a backplate. The card features a single HDMI 2.1 port and 3 DP.

MSI RX 6600 XT Gaming X

This is a typical-looking Gaming X model from MSI, but it works very well, just like other graphics cards with the same cooler. The gaming X comes with two fans and keeps the card cool under load. The shroud is made of plastic and has cutouts for heat dissipation.

The MSI RX 6600 XT Gaming X comes with the regular port selection. You get a single HDMI and three DP. The card does not come with dual BIOS. A single 8-pin power connector provides power to the graphics card.

XFX Speedster MERC308 RX 6600 XT

The XFX Speedster MERC308 RX 6600 XT has a massive cooler with a triple fan configuration. It will take up 3 slots and is one of the heaviest cards on this list. The card looks great and is one of the best-looking RX 6600 XT. There is a backplate that makes the card look great from all sides.

The logos light up, so there is some RGB lighting but nothing over the top. There is a beefy cooler that will keep the graphics card very cool under load.
