Leviathan’s Breath
This is an exotic bow that has intrinsic volatile rounds, intrinsically stops unstoppable champions, and does a lot of damage. The volatile effect is applied to the perfect draw. It also has 30% increased damage against champions. There is also a bug in the game, and if you are playing the game at more than 140 FPS, then the bow does double the amount of damage. I have not tested this personally since my RTX 3060 Ti only manages around 100-120 FPS.
Leviathan’s Breath is great at taking out champions, and that is why we recommend using this bow in the Grandmaster Nightfall in Destiny 2 Season of Defiance. Furthermore, we recommend getting an exotic catalyst for the weapon to improve it even further.
Two-Tailed Fox
The Two-Tailed Fox exotic rocket launcher with the exotic catalyst is one of the best rocket launchers in the game since it shoots three rockets that have different effects. These include suppression, jolt, and scorch. Since this is a solar weapon, you can use it when solar weapons are buffed in Grandmaster Nightfalls. The only downside to this weapon is that it is not great against Tormentors, where you need a weapon that can do reliable critical damage.
Wish Ender
This is an exotic bow that has intrinsic anti-barrier rounds and deals a lot of damage. This is a kinetic weapon and has a lot of range which is why we recommend it to deal with barrier champions in the Grandmaster Nightfalls.
Arbalest
This weapon also has intrinsic anti-barrier rounds, making it great for the Grandmaster Nightfall. The Arbalest counters all shield types, which makes it a great pick for Grandmaster Nightfalls.
Osteo Striga
This is an exotic kinetic SMG that poisons enemies when you get a kill. It also has tracking rounds, so you really do not have to do much at all. We would recommend getting its catalyst in order to improve its reload speed. it does not have a lot of range which is the only downside to this weapon.
Witherhoard
This is another great option worth considering since it does impressive amounts of damage over time. This grenade launcher is idea for crowd control and taking down bosses. It goes well with pretty much any build.
Hollow Denial
This is a legendary trace rifle that has great ammo economy and does a significant amount of damage. Since this is not an exotic weapon, you have an exotic slot free, and you can pick any exotic that you want.
Retraced Path
This is a solar trace rifle that does a considerable amount of damage, and you should use it when there is a buff for solar weapons. Since this is not an exotic weapon, you have an exotic slot free, and you can pick any exotic that you want.
