Chongyun is a pretty old character in the game but he is back on the Genshin Impact 2.0 Ayaka banner. You might have decided to build him with all the constellations that you have got. In this Genshin Impact guide, we are going to go over the best build for Chongyun including his weapons and recommended artifacts.
Best Build For Chongyun In Genshin Impact 2.0
Chongyun can be used as a DPS and support so we are going to go over both. The following are the weapons and artifacts that we recommend for Chongyun in Genshin Impact 2.0:
If you like spending your Primogems on the weapon banner then the Wolf’s Gravestone and Skyward Blade are the best weapons that we can recommend for Chongyun.
If you are going for a DPS Chongyun then we recommend getting the Serpent Spine or the Blackcliff Slasher. Both of these weapons have a Crit Damage main stat. If you do not have these weapons then you can opt to go with the Lithic Blade, just keep in mind that your other party members need to be from Liyue in order to get the passive buff.
If you are looking for something free-to-play then you can go with the Debate Club that is easy to max refine. You can also go with the Prototype Archaic which you can craft and refine at your own pace.
Moving on to the recommended artifacts for the character. We recommend going for a full Gladiator’s Finale set. Getting good stats on this set is pretty hard so if you do not have a full set that has good stats then we recommend going 2 peice Gladiators Finale with 2 peice Blizzard Strayer. If you are going for a support build then we recommend rocking the 4 piece Noblesse Oblige set.
You should prioritize Crit Damage and Crit rate for the stats. We recommend Attack% on sands but you can do with Energy Recharge as well. For Goblet you need to have Cryo Damage Bonus and you should have Crit Rate or Crit Damage on your circlet depending on which stat you need.
This is the build that we recommend for Chongyun in Genshin Impact. You can also check out our Yanfei build guide to pair with Chongyun in order to do some powerful melt reactions.
