How To Beat Pumpkin Head In Elden Ring

Elden Ring has plenty of challenging bosses that you can encounter while exploring the open world. One of them is Pumpkin Head, a boss that will try to slam you into the ground using his head. In this Elden Ring guide, we are going to go over how you can beat Pumpkin Head.

Before you can find Pumpkin Head, you will need the Spectral Steed. You need to use this to get to the location of the boss. Once you have the steed, you need to head over to Post Town Remains. Once you get to the ruins, you can use your steed to jump over the wooden barricade and go underground. If you see a large flower enemy, then know that you are in the right place.

The boss is going to use its flail in order to attack you. The attacks are fast but they are easy to dodge. Generally, once the boss has used the flail, it is going to use its free hand. The boss is also going to take advantage of its large helmet to try and slam you. Keep an eye out for when his head swings down, the boss can do this a couple of times back to back. This can often lead to the boss becoming stunned.

Stick to the left side of the boss, the side without a weapon, and dodge to the left. You can look for an opening and attack when you can but look out for the Pumpkin Head slams his head down. When that happens, the boss will be stunned and you can land a couple of hits of your own and deal damage to the boss.

You can use the same strategy if you are using a magic character. You should summon a spirit if you can. Doing so will make the fight a bit easier and will keep agro off of you. Repeat the process in order to drain the HP of the boss entirely.
