How To Beat The Glintstone Dragon Smarag In Elden Ring

Share

Elden Ring has its fair share of challenging enemies but some are more challenging than others. The Glintstone Dragon is a great enemy so it is going to be harder than regular bosses that you might have encountered till this point in the game. In this Elden Ring guide, we are going to go over how you can beat the Glintstone Dragon Smarag.

To find the dragon, you must first enter into the Liurnia of the Lakes. Ride through the swamps and get to the Temple Quarter site of grace. The swamps are dangerous so beware of tricky enemies. You will find Smarag towards the north.

As the name of the boss implies, Glintstone attacks are not going to do much here. As you approach the boss is it going to take some time to get up. This is your chance to charge in and deal some damage. You should use your best moves in order to deal as much damage as you can.

Once the boss is up, it can use a couple of different attacks to harm you. If it takes to the sky you need to steer clear and dodge the Glintstone attacks that it can use. Wait for the dragon to come back down in order to deal damage.

Once the dragon has landed, you need to stay towards it back a little to the right. You can deal a lot of damage here. Use heavy attacks in order to break its poise. This will allow you to deal a critical strike near its head.

You can use piercing weapon to take out the dragon effectively as it is weak toward piercing damage. While you are at the rear of the dragon, it can stomp its legs in order to damage you. You can dodge out of the way and then land heavy hits of your own to stagger it.

Once you beat the dragon, you will get 14,000 runes and a dragon heart. Nearby you can find a dead body that has the key you need to open up the Glintstone Academy seal.
