Halo Infinite has a couple of bosses that you need to beat in order to progress. Early on Bassus is the hardest of the lot. He uses a Gravity Hammer which can be devastating in a confined space. In this Halo Infinite guide, we are going to go over how you can beat Bassus.
Beating Bassus In Halo Infinite
Before you press the button to stop the mining drill, you should look around. At the end of the corridor, you will find an RPG that is next to a collectible. Pick it up as this is going to be very useful against the boss. Next to the button, you will also find a weapons rack. Here you can pick up sticky grenades and a Pulse Carbine. Lastly, you can pick up an HMG from the turrets on the ground that are around the dig site. We recommend bringing one with you.
The boss is going to charge at you constantly and use his hammer to deal damage. This does do a lot of damage and if you want to avoid this then we recommend using the grappling hook on the ceiling or behind the boss when he is charging at you. As you swing out of the way, you will avoid taking damage and you will also have time to land a couple of shots at the boss.
The Pulse Carbine will allow you to take down the shield of the boss. Once the shield is down, you can use the rocket launcher that you picked up in order to deal damage to the boss. Also, use the Sticky Grenades that you picked up in order to deal additional damage.
This is what you need to do to beat Bassus in Halo Infinite. Repeat this process and you will be able to beat the boss. If you want to learn more about the game then you can check out our guide on how you can disable energy shield doors.
