In Cyberpunk 2077 weapons and melee combat is not the only means of defeating your enemies and dealing damage. You can use your hacking skills as well. Unfortunately, enemies can do the same and overheating is something that you will encounter in the game especially in the early part of the game. In this Cyberpunk 2077 guide, we are going to go over how you can keep yourself from overheating and avoid it entirely.
Overheating can get annoying pretty quickly as you will be interrupted by a loading bar in the middle of combat which is not ideal. Luckily there is a way of dealing with the issue and avoiding it entirely. Overheating happens because another character is trying to hack you.
How To Stop Yourself From Overheating In Cyberpunk 2077
Firstly, find any cameras around you. If there are any cameras then they can be used by the enemy to hack you. Take out the cameras in order to avoid hacking. When you are in combat, you can move out of the line of sight in order to avoid being hacked.
If there is a camera in the room then they can be used by enemies to hack and damage you even if they are not in the same room as you. So be sure to take out all the cameras and move out of the line of sight when you see the loading screen pop up. This will keep you from overheating and keep you in battle with all your abilities intact.
Finding out who is hacking you is hard so we recommend getting the I Spy perk in the Quickhacking tree to reveal who it is. So that you can take out the enemy that is trying to hack you to avoid overheating.
